I Saw The Photos (the English Blondie) when they toured their first album around 1980 at Nottingham Rock City and fell in love with them.

They released a few good singles but only one called Irene was a UK hit reaching no 56. The album did better than I remember at the time peaking at number 4.

They did record a follow up album which was never released until many years later called Crystal Tips and Might Mice.

Wendy Wu (real name Wendy Yates) released three fab solo singles and was also part of Steve Strange´s, Strange Cruise project in 1986 using the alias Wendy Cruise.

You clearly have great tastes…I loved them from the start when my friend played me I’m So Attractive – have all the vinyl you show (but no pic sleeve for Now You Tell Me – did no even know that existed) and the debut album still ranks in my top 10 of all time…even if only reason it made so high in charts was it came with a free camera – they were the days :)

Over the moon to have such a collection on MP3 – but the two parts seem to both be missing the wonderful Run Jillly Run – any chance of adding that please!

You do know she was the Cruise on The Strange Cruise album with Steve Strange…I’m sure you do!! Don’t think she ever did anything again after that??

    Thanks again
