Hello! I am an 80’s DJ and musician, and I found your blog and I love it … my main interest is “It Should Have Been a Hit” … lots of forgotten gems here, and I have a collection of some myself that I would love to share with you sometime.

About me: I do music as Synthetik FM, a retro 80’s influenced synthpop project: http://www.synthetikfm.com … I have also taken to being a DJ in the Second Life virtual world, at an 80’s club called St. Ivan’s Infirmary: http://www.stivans.com … and I also have my own 80’s remix blog, at http://808pyrithea.blogspot.com where I have posted my own home cooked 80’s extended remixes of tracks.

I’ll definitely be in touch with you sometime … got a request: There was a track from the Steve Miller Band, off the 1984 album Italian X-Rays, called “Bongo Bongo”. That needs to be posted up … if you need it, I have the mp3. 🙂

    Cheers … Bobby

  3. Hi,

Just found you via Steve Fairnie site. What wonderful stuff you have here, much of which I’ve tried to find for years, especially after I had to get rid of a large vinyl collection in a house move six years ago. Have just ‘liked’ you on Facebook, and look forward to what else I might find here. Just spied Bill Nelson’s Red Noise …
